Hello World!

Although the definition of a geek could have my picture beside it, I believe I bring a lot more to the table.

I love challenging myself both physically and mentally. I am constantly pushing boundaries competing in a Tough Mudder competition, trying to bench press more than the guy next to me - pretty bad ass I know - but I also was a 2nd place finisher in databases at CS Games 2015, am an avid fan of Batman and Marvel, and enjoy passing the time with a variety of video games.

You know that question that you get asked sometimes, the "what gets you up in the morning?" Well the sarcastic part of me wants to say my alarm clock but really its my love for computer science. I love coding. I love learning about it and I love teaching what i already know. The look on a persons face when they finally got it, that is why I want to teach, I want to be the reason why a student falls in love with computer science.

I am very passionate about what I do and I want to share that passion with others. I want to teach kids that computers are much more than just Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I want them to see what's underneath because that's a lesson we should all know, don't judge a person on the surface until you see what's underneath.
